So today happened...

ARG is really all I have to say.

I've been loving this snow, especially since it all happened on my days off. But today when I walked out to my car to head to work I noticed there was a TREE on it. GREAT. So that was problem # 1. So I had to call the city to get someone to come out and uhhh remove the tree??

To get to the next annoying thing that happened today, let me do some esssplainin.

I moved yet again. I really love this place cause it really is an upgrade. Dishwasher AND central air/heat?!?!? Nothings perfect though...I have no closet. So I have a rolling rack that is definitely supporting way too much weight. Hold up, no it's not cause it KEEPS BREAKING. And today it literally fell on my face. And it hurt.

Next up, my computer. It's dying a slow death. Well really just the battery, which really blows cause that will be ridiculously expensive to replace I hear.

So now that I have bitched and moaned enough, on to different topics! I am really terrible with this whole blogging bit. My last post was on my sisters birthday in Sept! I want to be better about it, but I want to be better about a lot of things. I have another friend on the bloggin wagon so hopefully she will force me to update more often.

Valentine's day is on Sunday, which for me means get super intoxicated after work. LOVE TO ALL.

A Lil bit of everything

I haven't posted in a while. MAN it's hard to keep it up though, where do people find the time to post every single day?

Well the semester has started and I'm definitely slammed with things to do already. Some great things are happening though! I am now part of Fashion Group International which is basically a group for people in the industry. Every month there are cocktail parties, lectures from head honchos, shows etc. So I'm pretty pumped about that one. Plus it's basically networking so I'll be meeting lots of new peeps. Also I am really ready to get out of the Big D, I mean all my besties are here and my family but I have to leave. I need a change of scenery, my own life. I know I have one but it's time for something new, scary, and exciting. One of my professors is helping me with this quest. I will start applying for jobs outside of Texas very soon and hopefully something will come of it! I owe this woman so much even if I don't, she is amazing and I am very lucky to have had her and all her help.

I am still working at Buffalo Exchange, things are nutty right now. We are short 5-8 employees, but the good thing is that now that school is back we aren't as busy. Halloween is coming up though so it might be insane. I am in charge of our marketing/pr for Halloween, YAY. I really need to get going on that one. ALSO I could really use some suggestions for a GREAT costume!

Today is my little sisters birthday, so I have to get back to making her FUNFETTI CAKE! But what to do with the rest of my day off...

I celebrated my 24th birthday this weekend...what I thought would be depressing times, turned out to be FUN TYMZ!

Saturday I was surprised with tickets to the Cowboys vs. 49er's game. Now I'm not a fan of pro football, but I do enjoy going to games. We had great seats and gulped down $8 16oz beers. After leaving the game L-Nast came to my house with the following

List of great things that have happened so far this week!

1. Teddy at work took my Sunday shift so that I don't have to be hungover and in pain all day! YAAAY T! You're the best

2. Found a ticket to NY for $139, HOLLER BIAAAAS

3. Went on a long/reDICK bike ride with friends last night AND got slurpees!

4. Tina fell on her bike while texting and drinking a slurpee...not great but HILARIOUS and I didn't even see it :(

5. Kels needing my roommates "wrench"...RIGHT Karla

6. Dinner with the ex...really not that great either, but he is a good friend of mine.

7. Starting a bike gang called WOO TANGZ, meet tonight. My house @ 8 and we riiiiiiiide.

8. And I have saved the best for last......My sweet, sweet Tila is coming to Dallas this weekend. Yeah gurl. I see ya.

So there is this one Amy Winehouse song called Addicted and it's about being addicted to drugs. No pals that's not my true love. If you switch the words around with my favorite designers, styles and shoes it would be the perfect song! I am in love with clothing and accessories for life. I know how extremely lame that sounds but I love the art of design, construction and hardware. And if you know me well you know that I like to dress flashy y'all!

So my next big purchase?!?!??!?! A BEAUTIFUL Chanel raincoat. It's navy with a chain drawstring belt. It looks especially cute with the sleeves rolled up. I tried to find a picture online but no luck so after I get it I will post. Technically this is baby #2. Baby #1...Chanel pumps :)
